We’re here to support autistic individuals and their families as they move
beyond the school system or ABA therapy. Our mission is simple: to make finding housing, benefits,
and support easier for South Carolina’s autism community—especially for people with high support
needs.
Next Chapter Connections is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive community for individuals on the autism spectrum and those with similar neurodivergent conditions. Our mission is to combat the profound isolation often experienced by these individuals and their caregivers, empowering them to build meaningful connections, access essential resources, and thrive at every stage of life.
Headquartered in Fort Mill, South Carolina, we champion autism causes through strategic fundraising initiatives, including merchandise sales, individual donations, and grant applications. These efforts enable us to support local programs, and services that enhance the quality of life for neurodivergent communities. Advocacy lies at the heart of our work, where we actively promote policy changes, raise public awareness, and amplify the voices of those we serve to drive systemic improvements.
At the core of our outreach is an engaging, user-friendly website that serves as a comprehensive hub for lifelong support. Visitors can easily navigate direct links, contact information, and tailored resources for services and benefits—ranging from early intervention and education to employment, housing, and elder care—ensuring that no one faces their journey alone.
Join us in turning the page to a brighter, more connected future. Together, we can rewrite the narrative for neurodivergent individuals and their families
We are committed to supporting individuals with autism, their families, schools, and local government by compiling a comprehensive set of resources to simplify your journey. Our resource page offers carefully curated links to services, ranging from early intervention programs to residential centers, designed to meet diverse needs.
Our goal is to empower you to advocate for your well-being with confidence. We strive to dismantle stigmas surrounding neurodiversity, fostering an environment where therapy is accessible, supportive, and transformative for all who seek it.
Isolation is a serious matter in the autism community. Next Chapter Connections takes this very seriously. We will be involved with both virtual and in person events. That way everyone has a path to community and friendship. As mother to level 3 autism myself, I understand how difficult it can be to do in person meet-ups and make any time commitments because you never know what’s right around the corner in our exceptionally chaotic lives.
We want to empower you to take control of your own journey. As a caretaker, a parent or an individual on the spectrum. We aim to break the stigma surrounding neurodiversity, making therapy accessible, supportive, and transformative for everyone who seeks it.
By fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment, we ensure that all members of our unique community feel heard, valued, and understood.
We listen, we care, and we adapt to ensure that your journey to a less isolated life is as personalized and effective as possible. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, social difficulties, or navigating life transitions, Next Chapter Connections is here to walk with you every step of the way.

Every neurodivergent journey is unique. We tailor our guidance, resources, and programs to the individual needs of the person on the spectrum, their family, and their support network.
